Record-breaker and Estée Lauder Global Makeup Stylist, Rick DiCecca, applied lipstick on 303 participants to successfully break the previous record of 180 applications. Chicagoans lined up at 12:00 pm on the ground floor of Macy’s on State Street and puckered up for DiCecca to work his magic. The feat was witnessed by an official Guinness World Records Adjudicator, Danny Girton, who verified that the attempt adhered to the strict guidelines of the record category and presented DiCecca with a certificate documenting his new world record. “I am ecstatic to now hold the very first Guinness World Records achievement for Estée Lauder,” said DiCecca, who travels the world as a brand ambassador and creative consultant. “As a makeup artist, I’m used to working under pressure and this success was definitely a new and different way to challenge my skills.”
